The Dry Skin Problem

Dry skin problems increase with age, but there are quality products available that will overcome the dryness.

Healthy skin retains moisture, has enough natural oils, and maintains a barrier of cells and fat that keep moisture in and irritants out. A skin care routine should be based on maintaining natural moisture, with attention to occasional dry spots. The product used would be designed for normal or combination skin (combination skin has an oilier T zone in the centre of the face and the forehead.

Moderately dry skin has the protective barrier, but lower levels of natural moisture. (more…)
