Thinning Hair – A Sensitive Subject for Women
Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008Hair loss and thinning occurs when a person loses more hairs than normal. The average head has about 100,000 hairs. Each individual hair survives for an average of 4 1/2 years, during which it grows about half an inch per month. In the fifth year, the hair usually falls out, and within 6 months is replaced by a new one.
